In order to pass down the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, enrich students’ campus life, stimulate their enthusiasm in practicing calligraphy as well as form a favorable habit of writing earnestly, in the group activity class on the afternoon of 22nd September, Grade 7 in the west campus of Anqing Foreign Language School convened the Fountain Pen Writing Competition.
This contest was conducted in each class. Every student was supposed to write specified content with their fountain pens within the stipulated time. During the process, all students demonstrated warm zeal, positively took part in the competition and fulfilled their tasks under the arrangements of their teachers.
Overall, not only did this informative event motivate students’ devotion towards Chinese learning, but also enabled them to get more practice and realized the importance of practicing calligraphy more profoundly.
